taxvak, operated by Parent Vertical LLC, helps you collect, read, sort and keep your tax documents, tracks what's missing, reminds you of deadlines, shows estimates, and prepares a package for you or your tax preparer.
taxvak does not prepare or file tax returns and does not give tax, legal or financial advice. Checklists, flags and estimates are tools to help you get organized and ask good questions; they may be incomplete or wrong for your situation. You, or a tax professional you choose, are responsible for your return and for every decision about it.
Upload only documents you have the right to share, including those of your spouse and dependents. Look over the values we read — especially anything marked “please check” — and keep your original documents. Keep your email account secure, because sign-in codes are sent there.
When you share, you choose the recipient and give your consent to the disclosure. The recipient is not our employee or agent, and we are not responsible for their work. You can remove access at any time; removing access does not undo downloads already made.
The Free plan includes a checklist, email reminders and up to 10 documents. The Tax year plan ($39 per household per tax year, unless a different price is shown at checkout) adds unlimited documents, text reminders and sharing with your preparer. Payment is one-time per tax year; we do not renew it without asking you.
Don't upload anything unlawful, don't try to access other people's households, and don't use taxvak to send unwanted messages. We may suspend accounts that put other customers or the service at risk.
We run taxvak carefully and back it up daily, but we provide it “as is”, without a guarantee that it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for taxes, penalties or interest you owe, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
You can delete your household or stop using taxvak at any time. We may close accounts that break these terms, and will give you a chance to download your documents first unless the law prevents it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho. If we change them in a way that matters, we will tell you by email before it takes effect. Questions: hello@taxvak.com.
